Programming Mods, has he gone completely mad? Why does he do that?
I don’t know, it just happened. Here is an excuse trying to explain it:
Most of the time I wait for some updates or a certain amount of time before I start playing a game
again – and then from the beginning (maybe I forgot the plot… I’m getting old).
The last time I did this was at My Sister, My Roommate. Hadn’t played it for almost a year.
In the meantime it was even finished. But when I started to play it I was missing something: no sound!
So I started to rummage around in the RenPy code or looked how other games do it with sound
…and voila’ – Hollywood Dolby Surround Special Effects 😉
Of course nonsense, I am a complete beginner. But I’m getting closer and closer slowly…
Dear game developers, please forgive me doing that shit! Let me know if you think “Oh
no, dont do that to my baby” – I will stop torturing the games immediately!
Audio Mods – update

At the moment my main focus is on the mod for Halfway House, meanwhile I’m already
messing around with the original code of EP3 from the game.
(v0.02 for EP1-EP2 is out and can be downloaded for testing)
The mod for My Sister, My Roommate is currently somewhat on hold for me because I
read that the dev team might develop a new ending for it.
audio mods – how do I actually do that?

I was asked privately how I actually do this “mod stuff”. I tried to explain this simply with two screenshots of the gamecode – one before and one after my modification.
Now I thought, maybe one of you has a little interest in my attempt, too. So I just post these two pics here.
A little explanation of my (red) notes in the game code:
1…stop previous music and then start the MP3 file “Smallguitar.mp3“
2…play a short, muffled sound (picture shaking) + a telephone ringing
(files “Bump_01.mp3” + “Phone-Ringing_01.mp3“)
3…Play a sound for the phone hung up (file “Phone-Hungup_01.mp3“).
More details would be a bit too much here, I just wanted to show how I tinker with the gamecode to get sound into it.
(This extract is from the game A Mothers Love, modifying the file script.rpy. My tools: the text editor Notepad++ and a lot of persistence, patience and many cups of coffee…)

I just wanted to say hello again and review my work here after almost 2 months.

For all the others, who still haven’t been scared off by me and still want to read on, some infos and facts about me and my work here.
- Personal data: Male (big surprise), 50+ (yes, I’m already that old) and unfortunately not very good in english (but thanks to Google and DeepL it works).
- I got to know erotic games about 1 1/2 years ago, my first was DMD. But since then there were a “few” games more…
- With my manipulated pictures on F95zone I have been delighting you about May 2019. Since then I and hopefully some of you had fun with it.
- My two websites (besides this one here on patreon there is also my completely selfmade homepage) I started at the end of November / beginning of December 2019. Both were created just for fun and curiosity on my part. I just tried to make a own website for me.
- With audio mods I started about a month ago. Also just out of curiosity.
Now at the end a few mini-facts about my Patreon account:

- As mentioned above, this site is online since early December 2019.
- In the meantime, there are already about 50 posts accumulated here again!
(on my other side, there are already 99 posts with my pics only…
so: I’m not running out of material that fast!). - As always mentioned by me: My site here is FREE.
- What I didn’t expect at all: there were even 2 crazy people (sorry) who pressed the patron button and now I have them breathing down my neck 😉
Big thanks to you, that was an incredible additional motivation to continue here. - Also thanks to another extremely hard-working “Liker” here – you also motivate me immensely!

Six-month anniversary

Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone out there who followed me and my initial (and probably still now) clumsy attempts to make a little Patreon site with funny posts here. To be honest, I was originally just curious how to put something like this together and never dreamed that this site would still be active six months later.
And to top it off – and this although I’ve always said that my posts here are and will remain free – I even found some crazy people who clicked on the “support” button😱. Well, now I’m still not sure what to do with all that money – does that company in Italy still build those funny red cars? Or should I buy stock in Microsoft and take over the company…
Joking aside – I really did not expect this. So an extra thanks to you guys.
So, finally a “Stay healthy” and maybe for another 6 months (or more)

Future for my Patreon account

Unfortunately, it is getting more and more difficult to publish my posts here on my Patreon site for the general public. As soon as there is only one “indecent” word in my text (let alone a photo with some skin), I get a notice during the creation process that I am no longer allowed to make this post available to the general public and must set it to patrons only.
This is also one of the reasons why I haven’t posted any photoshops here lately. But since I want to publish my mods and photos to the public, I might have to think of something else for that.
Well, I already have my own homepage, but it’s not as convenient for the visitors as here on Patreon. So I’ll take a closer look at the Patreon alternatives. I will of course inform you in time, if there are any changes in this matter.
No good news regarding my Patreon continuation

Unfortunately I got a message from Patreon today that some of my Mods or links to games/developers are against their policies. It wasn’t even pointed out which of my content should not comply, only the hint that I should take care of it as soon as possible.
Well, since I don’t know what’s causing these problems, I have now decided that
I close the page here on Patreon!
Fortunately this occured before my planned change to monthly payment happend and so (hopefully) no trouble was caused to my existing patrons.
As some of you may know, I was already close to this decision once: when they started to search for “dangerous pictures” in the free postings. And of course this wouldn’t have been a problem if I had done this with patron only postings…
Well, I will delete here now in the next few days pretty all of my postings, and then close the page. Maybe I’ll look around for an alternative (Sub…Star), but probably I will only switch to my website for now.
Unfortunately, this will then also mean that I also reconsider my support for other developers via this platform, too. Or at least limit it to a minimum. “Well done”, Patreon…
Closing the Patreon page

I have already sorted out pretty much of the old posts here. A few older ones are still left, I want to save them as a personal “memento” first. But then it is time to close the page here. As said before you can still find my news on my Website or of course also on F95zone.
I have also registered on two other sites for quite some time now, but not really used them so far for that. I’ll take a look at both again, whether I might post there in the future also (and of course again for free):
– “By me a coffe“: I have it also for some time now. But I use it more to pay there myself from time to time others with that service. But using it as my “new site” in the future could be a problem. I think there are also stricter rules, similar here on Patreon. But I’ll check it.
– “SubscribeStar“: I registered there more then half a year ago, but the final approval never reached me. I’ll check it again, too. If it works out, then I will probably give it a try since there are already many other devs and modders.
Well, now I have to work off the last postings here and then I will probably close the page here tomorrow.
Despite everything I had fun with my publications here until now, and I hope that a few of you also follow me on my new sites, too (a few have already announced that I won’t get rid of them so easily…). So hopefully I see some of you there.
